I have given lectures to large groups (60+ students), I have led discussion-forward seminars (15-20), and I have facilitated small tutorial sessions (1-4).

Most of my teaching was given whilst at the University of Oxford where I gave lectures on the undergraduate module Geographies of the Anthropocene, and where I developed, convened, and ran a master’s module entitled The Future of Food. I am also due to give some guest lectures for the geography undergraduate degree programme at the University of Bristol. The module is called After Nature and I will be delivering some teaching on agriculture, land use, and food system transition.

I have also supervised many undergraduate and master’s research dissertation projects. I also feature in the acknowledgements on three PhD theses as the ‘unofficial third supervisor.’ I am, by nature, a confident and enthusiastic collaborator, supervisor, and teacher.
